Key ideas received include:
• Rebuild or convert the derelict changing room block.
• Rebuild the playground.
• Improve the car parking, pathways, entrances, signs, benches and planting.
• Conserve and maintain the historic character of the park.

Come and share your views about your local park and its future. One event will be at the Isleworth Leisure Centre & Library, Twickenham Road, Isleworth, TW7 7EU and the other, at Redlees Park playground, Isleworth, TW7 6DW. Both run from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

The event will included den building and drawing in the play area for children (weather permitting).

The council appointed architecture, landscape and urban design consultants Adams & Sutherland to produce a masterplan for Redlees Park. The consultation finishes at the end of March 2016, with the council looking to explore the opportunities which arise from the process, both short-term and long-term recommendations and identify further areas to look at.

Councillor Ed Mayne, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Leisure, Hounslow Council, said:

“Redlees Park is very important to the local community, which is why we want local people to let us know how they think we can maintain and improve the park, so it can continue to be somewhere where everyone can visit and enjoy.

“We’ve had some fantastic feedback already. The events this weekend give residents another to chance to take a look at what is being discussed and be able to give their thoughts on what they would like to see.”
