Burglary
All burglary reports are checked by experienced detective who are part of the team. Victims are visited and those needing assistance are referred to Council safeguards team. Regular deployment/tasking of uniform and plain clothes patrols to combat burglaries at identified locations. Two PSPs (302s) opened with regular actions updates alongside regular street briefings on crime prevention advice. Known offenders visited regularly as part of the Integrated Offender Management actions monitored by criminal justice offender management initiatives. The team sends out regular messages via the neighbourhood link messaging to keep residents abreast of incidents.

Drug Dealing/Using
Dedicated sector intelligence officer collates relevant information and obtains drugs search warrants from the Magistrates court which then executed by the team. Good information received from residents regarding drug dealing on the ward leading to numerous warrants executed under Operation Hawk, resulting in arrests for possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. The team also works in partnership with Department Work and Pensions executing warrants on the ward. PCSO’s leaflet drop in roads surrounding recent Operation Hawk warrants, raising awareness in the community regarding the local work Brentford SNT are conducting.

ASB
A dedicated ASB team provide regular updates and this is dealt with by the team using joint partnership approach with Hounslow council ASB team. Vulnerable victims of ASB are referred to Hounslow safeguard unit and or other agencies to give support/assistance. CCTV is utilised to monitor activities at known venues. The team conducts regular patrols at known locations in partnership with local council team. Regular street briefings held at hotspots. Persons identified to be involved with ASB are monitored, engaged and issued ABC to counter escalation of issues raised.

Syon Ward

Burglary
Burglary reports are assessed and investigated by experienced officers/detectives. Reporting officers completes local enquiries, and neighbours then advised by ward SNT PCSO’s who complete further local enquiries and reassurance visits. Identified vulnerable victims are referred to the safeguards team ensuring appropriate assistance is provided. PSP (302s) usually opened with detailed actions and regular updates. Team officers’ complete regular visits on known offenders as part of the Integrated Offender Management within the community. Regular street briefings and leaflet drops to keep residence abreast of incidents undertaken by the team. Increased high visibility patrols at hot spots. We have arrested and convicted three persons for burglary offences and one now serving a considerable length of prison term, relates to theft of high value motor vehicles

Theft of pedal cycles
The team conducts regular high visibility patrols at known locations on the ward. Residents are advised to register pedal cycles via immobilise website and during one of the several bike marking days that have been organised in joint partnership with Hounslow council community safety coordinator and, or safer transport team command. The team also use leaflet drops, street briefings/meetings to provide local residents with basic security measures. We also deploy plain clothes cycle patrols and use other tactics to apprehend. We have arrested and charged some individuals assisted by persons reporting property the items stolen though using internet websites.

ASB
A dedicated ASB team provides regular updates concerning ASB on the ward into team mailbox or via phone calls to the team. All named ASB victim are then contacted /visited. Advice and support plans/measures are put into operation based on individual needs. Some of complainants confirmed to be persons with various issues that require other agencies support and not police intervention, but we sometimes coordinate actions to drive positive changes. Local council and businesses cameras are utilised to combat ASB at known locations. Regular patrols at known locations in partnership with local council team are constantly deployed. Two persons have been issued with ABC in order to address ASB raised.
