Hounslow Council has plans to create new homes as part of a number of rooftop developments which involve building an additional storey on top of existing housing blocks.

A public consultation took place in October 2017 with preliminary proposals for developments. Now a further consultation will take place.

At Brentford Free Church, Boston Manor Road
Thursday 5th September 3-7pm.

Hounslow is proposing to build a new floor on top of the existing blocks at Mercury House which could provide 6 properties. Improvements to the external areas will also be made, with cycle stores, better drying areas and landscaping.

Preliminary plans will be on display and the Council and members of the project team will be there to answer any questions. Plans can also be downloaded.

Complete the online feedback form before Friday 20 September 2019. Queries can be sent to Sukhi Randhawa, Senior Housing Development and Supply Officer at  5000.pledge@hounslow.gov.uk

The intention is to submit a full planning application in Autumn 2019.

The additional floor will provide six more flats: 3 x 1 bed, 2 x 2 beds and 1 x 3 beds.
