Mercedes Benz are planning on rebuilding their dealership on the Great West Road in Brentford. If they obtain approval for their plans they will use their servicing site near Kew Bridge as a temporary distribution site during construction. This site is due to be closed in 2020 because of development in the area

The five storey building, the top floors of which are visible from the elevated section of the M4 and accessed from Clayponds Avenue will be replaced with a more modern building similar to the Audi site next door.

The building would be 'slightly' higher than the existing structure and have three floors to display cars.

The new showrooms would be illuminated at night to enhance the display of the cars which would be visible from the motorway through a glass frontage.

It is proposed that the development will continue as a car sales facility, a servicing/repair workshop, MOT testing workshop, parts store and all the car parking facilities, for customers, staff and used cars.
