Brentford School for Girls have re-applied for a new all weather pitch with community use two days a week, having dropped the idea of floodlights.

This application amends the original plan for community use up to 9pm with 10 metre high floodlights further to a public meeting where local residents voiced their concerns over the night time illumination.

The Games Area has school use every day until 6.00 pm; sometimes too on Saturdays till 14.00. There is Community use on Monday and Wednesday from 18.00 – 21:00. The school wishes to formalize this use as part of the application for the all-weather games surface.

Brentford School for Girls want to regenerate the school's outdated redgra area to turn it into a modern all weather 3G astro turf playing surface . It would be surrounded by a 3m high fence.

The school secured a £147,000 local grant bid (CIL money from Hounslow) to help fund the project and are still fundraising for the further £150,000 needed.
