The Mulberry Centre Needs Assistance
Help Spread the word about cancer
Community Outreach Volunteers
These will support the Outreach Project in advertising The Mulberry Centre in the community. They can do as little or as much as they wish. Full training and support will be provided and they can choose their own personal patch.
The Mulberry Centre Health and Wellbeing Information Roadshow
The Mulberry Centre will come to your organisations, companies, Health Centres etc. and hold The Mulberrthe Roadshow at their office or waiting area. With a small stand and two informative banners, staff or patients can help themselves to information on how to reduce the risk of cancer, how to identify signs and symptoms and what support is available for those affected by cancer.
If you are interested in either of these please contact Lyn to find out more.

The Mulberry Centre, based in the grounds of West Middlesex Hospital, is a truly special place, where people whose lives are affected by cancer can come for support and information. The Centre provides a Cancer Information Manager who welcomes new clients and can help with any questions they may have. They can take advantage of Complementary Therapies, Welfare Rights Advice, Support Groups and Counselling.
The Mulberry Centre’s aim is to provide a truly holistic approach to cancer care which complements NHS treatment. The amazing part is that they provide these services free of charge, not only to the person diagnosed but also to their families and those who are recently bereaved.
The drop-in centre is open 10am till 4pm weekdays, with two late evenings a month and anyone can benefit, regardless of where they live or which hospital they attend. The charity is there to support people during life’s most difficult times but they do rely heavily on the generosity of the public to keep going.
