Miission Hall is a valuable community hall on the Haverfield estate and it's in danger of closing if people don't come forward and volunteer to help run it.

The hall has a governing committee which runs the hall. This includes organising basic maintenance, clearing it up and making improvements, making decisions on how it is used and taking bookings, liaising with Hounslow Homes, and covering any other issues as they arise.

The committee also acts as a local residents association, making representations on estate safety and other local issues to the council or other appropriate authorities.

There will be an AGM in the summer when new members will be elected but the current committee are looking for people who may be interested in helping out now. You must live on the Haverfield estate or Green Dragon Lane to be eligible and to want to help keep the hall a shared community space.

A caretaker and/or gardener are also needed. There is a small amount for expenses but no salary.
