The council was asked some time ago to install large computer screens in the local libraries by fifteen amenity societies.

Although large monitors have many uses, the principal aim of this was to enable residents to view planning applications and the detailed paperwork and plans on a screen large enough to do so.

Seven of these have now been installed in the following libraries, Bedfont, Brentford, Chiswick, Cranford, Feltham, Hounslow and Isleworth.
