Waters glisten at Ferry Quays

Brentford's culinary life boosted by new restaurant

The burgeoning restaurant scene in Brentford has another new venue with the opening in Ferry Quays of Glistening Waters.

The new restaurant offers "Modern Caribbean and English Cuisine", opening at 10am for brunch and serving specialitites including curried goat until 11pm. Their appearance, along with other new openings such as the Fire Staion and Poppadums, is a sign that the much-vaunted cultural renaissance of TW8 may be happening.

"We were excited to be able to open a restaurant like this on a new site like this" owner Sandra Byfield told BrentfordTW8.com. "We can do anything from a decent cup of coffee to a full-blown meal, and even though we've only been open a few days, reaction has been great.   For a guide to Restaurants in Brentford and ratings by other readers visit our Eating Out guide.
