A new funeral parlour is to be officially opened in Ealing this month with Rupa Huq MP for Ealing Central and Acton attending.

O'Dwyer

Although the address is in Ealing O'Dwyer Funeral Directors are in the parish of Brentford, at 137 Little Ealing Lane, W5 4EJ. They will be the only independent funeral director in Brentford or Ealing to have signed up with the End Poverty for Funerals campaign. They are also a member of the Fair Funeral Pledge.

The cost of funerals have soared over the past 5 to 10 years. Many people find it difficult to afford the £4,000-£5,000 that a funeral typical costs and Don O’Dwyer the owner of the new venture has pledged to keep costs down to make funerals as affordable as possible.

The unveiling takes place on Saturday 20 August at 12pm and Fran Hall the Editor of the Good Funeral Guide also taking part in the opening.
