The series of summer bandstand concerts organised by The Friends of Watermans Park continues this Saturday (22 July).

At 4pm the charismatic showman Marky Dawson with his huge voice will be opening the show covering musical theatre, jazz and rock alongside piano chops 'which could make Jerry Lee Lewis blush'.

Lager Top will be there too featuring Alan Anderson aka 'the Dude' of Hello It's Me and The Chilling Place with Fort Lauderdale fame, Phil Leiwy the notorious Harmonica Lewinsky - wanted in 12 States, Arvind Shah the combine-harvester of rock and Nick Fermi the 'smoothest grooviest éminence grise behind every new scene'.

And then there will be a chance to see the Lemon Sharks of London who are an Isleworth-based family band with roots in the alternative 80s music scene. The Lemon Sharks will get the audience dancing with a mixture of covers and original songs in a variety of genres - from ska/reggae to post-punk with a little bit of funky grooves on the side.

To close a star of the future Dune Dao-Reed will be singing

For the last Summer Bandstand on the 29 July, the 30 strong Questors Choir will be singing.

More details of future events will be available on the Friends website.
