Goddards Blaze Now Under Control

Six fire engines and 35 firefighters

Fire crews were called to Goddards furniture shop on Brentford High Street in Brentford. The blaze affected part of the second floor of the shop and crews worked hard to bring it under control.

Six fire engines from Acton, Chiswick, Heston, Ealing, and Hammersmith fire stations were at the scene with 35 firefighters and officers.

The London Fire Brigade was called at 1446 and the fire was under control at 1707.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
