West Middlesex University Hospital is holding a recruitment open day this Saturday 10 June.

The event is aimed at qualified nurses and midwives who are looking to join the team as well as those who are interesting in returning to work in these roles after a career break. It is part of the Isleworth hospital’s drive to fill a number of permanent vacancies in different areas.

Aibhin Burke has worked at the hospital for the past 13 years in nursing: “I remember coming to West Mid from Ireland for an interview and found it such a friendly and welcoming place from the moment I walked in the main entrance. It is still a very friendly place to work, as many people will tell you. I have been fortunate to have had lots of great opportunities here and have progressed up the career ladder to ward sister, ward manager and now lead nurse. Those opportunities are here now and we want to hear from qualified nurses and midwives looking to work somewhere new and exciting where they will be made to feel part of a great team. On the day we will have staff on hand to answer questions, show you around the hospital as well as carry out interviews. We have opportunities in medicine and surgery depending on what you are interested in. I hope to see you on Saturday.”

The event runs from 11am to 3pm at West Middlesex University Hospital, Twickenham Road, Isleworth, TW7 6AF
