A new exhibition entitled Multiple Personalities is to be held at The Loft in Brentford featuring work by resident artist Mr Mr Pearce and visiting artist Elizabeth Decker.

The venue on Catherine Wheel Road will show work exploring the human condition through colourful abstract portraits examining the psychology of individual personalities.

Mr Mr Pearce is a Brentford based artist who works with a variety of mediums including painting, printmaking, collage and sculpture.

Elizabeth Decker is an internationally exhibited abstract painter, published writer, teacher and Certified Mediator from Austen, Texas. She recently sold everything she owns in the United States and is experimenting with what it’s like to move through the world, ‘untethered and without a plan’. She is currently in a two month residency at The Loft.

The artists say that their work is interested in what is taking place beyond the surface and that they aim to connect through their interest in self-examination, growth and evolution as affected both individually to personal experiences and how they are affected by the events of the outside world.

The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, collages, sculptures and video art.

Visitors will also be invited to create their own psychological portrait using images and words which will be displayed during the exhibition.

There is a Private View on Friday 4 March from 6-9pm with the main exhibition taking place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March from 10am to 5pm.

Tickets are free but places can be booked online.
