Celebrations in Hounslow this October
A Taste of the Caribbean Calling everyone with a return ticket on the "Windrush"!
Where: Brentford Library (Upstairs)
When: Friday 21st October 10.00am - 4.00pm
The time has come to abandon this place of wind and rain, and get back to the land where the food is fresh, the music is settling and the sun is always out. Caribbean African Association in partnership with Hounslow Library Service invite you to sample a taste of the Caribbean – try out the food, check out the music, find out more about the history and culture.
Brentford Library will open from 10am – 4pm for the event on the day.
The Adventures of Mary Seacole
Where:Paul Robeson Theatre

She saved many lives, whilst risking her own… and guess what? She did it alone. Join our Victorian music hall artist in songs and sketches, and help her to tell Mary’s extraordinary story. Workshop performed by members of Gunnersbury Park Museum’s education team.
