Who should I vote for?

You are invited to election hustings on Monday, 25 November starting from 7.30pm at St Paul's Church.

Candidates will be on hand to say a few introductory words and then answer questions from the audience.

Thanks go to Brentford Voice for organising the event which will be chaired by Dominic West.

The General Election takes place on 12 December 2019.

The final list of prospective parliamentary candidates has been announced as:

Ruth Cadbury (Labour)
Seena Shah (Conservative)
Helen Cross (Liberal Democrat)
Daniel Goldsmith (Green)

Lucy O'Sullivan (Brexit) - unable to attend.

If you’re unable to attend but would like to put a question to the candidates then please email the addresses below.

Similarly, if you are attending and are uncomfortable speaking in public then either email your question to either of the addresses below, OR BV will be collecting questions on the door as you arrive. If you wish your name to be announced with your question please state that clearly.

Please keep it short. Be polite and respectful – it is easy to disregard a question if it is said in an aggressive or negative manner.

The audience matters – even if the politicians ignore you or dodge the question remember that there is a whole room of potential supporters in the audience. Frame your question in a way that will arouse the interest of other people in the room.

Be specific – make sure you ask a clear question.

Unfortunately, there is limited time so not all quesitons may be asked but hopefully all topics will be covered.

Please email either bob@brentfordvoice.co.uk or martin@brentfordvoice.co.uk with your questions.
