Residents have the chance to quiz members of Hounslow Council’s Cabinet about council services and local matters at the next Cabinet Question Time event, which will take place on Thursday 26 September.

The first Question Time session after the Local Election in May will feature some new faces on the Cabinet, and attendees can put questions to them on any aspect of their Cabinet portfolios.

The Q&A will take place in the Main Hall at Chiswick Town Hall, Heathfield Terrace, Chiswick W4 from 7pm to 9pm (doors open 6.45pm).

Following positive feedback from the previous sessions, the Question Time event is returning to Chiswick, and will provide the opportunity for residents to raise any issues they have in the area where they live and work with their Cabinet members.

Cllr Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council, said;“These events are a great way for us to talk to residents about the local issues that matter to them. We’ve had a fair grilling in the past, and my fellow Cabinet Members and I fully expect to face some challenging questions, but by coming out to the community, it gives us a first-hand, real feel for what people are concerned about.

“I hope that we’ll have a good turn-out, and I look forward to seeing as many people as possible at these events, which will be held across the borough over the coming year.”All residents are welcome, and admission will be on a first-come, first-entry basis.

Questions will be taken from the floor, but if you wish to submit a question to Cabinet in advance of the event, please send it in to communications@hounslow.gov.uk by Monday 17 September.

Further Cabinet Question Time events will be held on the following dates in other parts of the borough (venues TBC):

25 October
28 November
