BRAG Brentford Recycling Action GroupBRAG Annual General Meeting

Tuesday 22nd November 2015 7:00 pm

Brickfield Community Centre, Brickfield Close,  Brentford, TW8 8JN (which is the base for Hounslow Community FoodBox, just behind Majestic Wine, 2-10 London Road).

Please join in the seventeenth Brentford Recycling Action Group (BRAG) Annual General Meeting. Light refreshments will be available.

BRAG is a voluntary, non-political community waste action group made up of Brentford residents. It works to raise awareness of waste issues and to promote activities and facilities to improve the local environment.

The AGM will consist of a review of BRAG’s activities in the past year, including work at community events, followed by a number of presentations and a question-and-answer session. We will round off the evening with refreshments, where you’ll have a chance to chat with members and guests in an informal setting.

Guest speakers will include Paul Richens, Horticultural Trainer, Bluedome Synergies, one of the founder members of BRAG (“Does your house plant know you’re there?”) and a knowledgeable, entertaining speaker.

Melanie Gadd, Head of Environmental Services & Contract Management for Hounslow Council will tell us the current situation and future of recycling in the Borough.

If you have any questions, or would like to confirm attendance, please get in touch with either of the BRAG members listed below.
