EU Referendum

As Counting Officer for the Hounslow voting area at the referendum held on 23 June 2016 under the European Union Referendum Act 2015, on Friday 24 May at 3.50am Mary Harpley declared that:

The total number of ballot papers counted was 115,208

The total number of votes cast in favour of REMAIN was 58,755 (51%)

The total number of votes cast in favour of LEAVE was 56,321 (48.9%)

132 ballots were rejected (39 voted for both answers).

The turnout in Hounslow was 69.7%.
