The list of candidates is notable for the ICG's move into neighbouring wards following their success in Isleworth in 2002. Brentford FC supporters' party ABeeC have decided not to re-stand and act as a pressure group. There are fewer LibDem candidates than in 2006, and only one Green candidate.

Every elector has three votes (although it is not necessary to use them all). Polling cards have been sent out, and the deadline for applying for postal votes is 18 April - telephone 020 8583 2107 if you want a postal vote.
