Bees United put the fun in fundraising

Forthcoming events from the Brentford supporter's trust

Bees United are raising something like £10k per month at the moment. Just over £7k per month is in the form of Standing Orders - the remainder is made up from a mixture of schemes - such as the following.   Bees United is the trading name of the Trust set up by Brentford supporters with the eventual aim of making Brentford FC a community football club owned by its supporters. More information available from their website.

Next Sunday one such event will be the Table Top Sale in Stripes. This will be raising funds in three ways: by renting tables (£15). Second is by donating items: a couple of tables will be selling items which are solely in aid of Bees United (so we are looking particularly for: vinyl; CDs; Tapes; Videos; Books; non-electrical games, jigsaw puzzles (complete please), magazines and football memorabilia. The third way of helping is by simply turning up on the day, paying your 50p admission and supporting this event. More details here.

Quiz Night - Places are still available for Rod Gowers' now legendary General Knowledge Quiz. It's worth turning up just to see how Rod manages to get as many members of his family directly involved, with a team of youngsters scurrying around collecting Answer papers. All this taking place at Stripes on Wednesday 3 December. Teams of four welcome, entry £20 per team. Details here.

Stripes is located under the Main Stand at Brentford Football Club, Braemar Road, Brentford, TW8 0NT. Access is via the main entrance to the ground - Stripes is then directly in front of you.
