A 23 year old man was a victim of a robbery last Thursday (21st April) in the alley way behind Distilllery Walk.

He was making his way to catch a bus when he was approached by a group of four. They asked if he was okay but then one of them produced a 6 inch black handled kitchen knife and threatened the victim.

He was asked to hand over his wallet containing £100 in cash which he duly did. The gang then made off.

The suspect who brandished the knife is described as a white male of about 6ft, 'rough looking' wearing a cream coloured jacket and faded blue jeans. The other three suspects were all described as white males 5ft 5". The first one was wearing a blue baseball cap and was of stocky build, the second was wearing a blue 'puffa' style jacket and the last one had a grey hooded sweat shirt on.

The case is being investigated by DC Dave Patterson who can be reached on 020 8247 5940
