Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested on Brent Way

Last Saturday 26th November 2016 a theft from motor vehicle operation was set up on Brent Way to high crime on that road.

Officers from Brentford NPT and Syon NPT were in plain clothes patrolling this area looking for suspicious people.

At around 4pm a male was cycling on this road on a lady's bike looking into vehicles. He had passed PC Halton who then circulated it on the radio. The male was then heading towards PC Byrne and PC Pillay. The male was eventually stopped by PC Byrne and PC Pillay after a struggle.
 
Once stopped PC Byrne searched the male and a knife as well as a large quantity of drugs were found. The male also stated the bike he was riding was not his.
 
PC Byrne arrested the male for suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, theft by finding and having an offensive weapon in a public place. This male was then taken to Kingston Custody Suite to be interviewed regarding this matter.
 
This investigation is still ongoing.
