The Brentford Neighbourhood Team arrested several men who shoplifted from the Esso Police Station by Chiswick roundabout.

Police received a call on Saturday telling them of the theft. The males involved ran away from the staff. PS Saunders and PC Pillay from the Brentford team rushed to the scene and searched for these suspects.

They were located, detained and arrested shortly after for theft and drunk and disorderly. Most of the goods were recovered. They were then taken to custody to be interviewed later regarding this matter.

The Brentford team are taking zero tolerance on theft. So far due to the work of the team convictions have been secured for four individuals at court who are prolific offenders. The result from these convictions has led them to being sent to prison this year alone for multiple thefts in Brentford. They continue to work hard to make Brentford a safer ward.
