The search for missing Isleworth man Patrick Duffy has ended after his body was discovered on St. Patrick's Day in Brentford Marina.

He had last been seen wearing a 125th anniversary Celtic Football Club shirt on the night of Saturday 9th February.

Mr Duffy, aged 54, from St Johns Road Isleworth was spotted on London Road at the junction with The Ham, Brentford, heading towards Isleworth, shortly after midnight.

Police were called at in the early afternoon on Sunday, 17th March, to Brentford Marina. Although formal identification is yet to take place his next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination will take place on Tuesday, 19th March, at Fulham mortuary.

Police officers from Hounslow are investigating the cause of his death.
