Police in Brentford have issued a warning to residents of Reynard Way after a spate of burglaries.

Thieves have been targeting the patio doors of ground floor flats in the new developments.

The local team have responded by increasing the number of patrols in the area they undertake during the evenings.

They are advising who see someone acting suspiciously to report it to the Brentford Safer Neighbourhood team via The Metropolitan Police website or ring 101.

Always call 999 if a crime is in progress or imminent.

The warning was issued through the OWL messaging system which alerts people to potential issues in their area.
