Man charged with attempted murder

A 35 year old woman was the victim of a serious assault in Brentford this Sunday (22nd June). The attack on Clitherow Road near Boston Manor Park left her in hospital with serious injuries. She is currently reported to be in a stable condition.

Detectives investigating the incident issued an appeal for the whereabouts of Amish Kansagra, aged 28 on Tuesday evening. The following morning he handed himself in to police and was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He has now been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and another assault charge against the same victim relating to an incident that took place on Saturday 21st June. He is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court today (27th June).
