According to the latest available information there will be a pop-up clinic at the Brentford Fountain Leisure this Saturday (24 July) offering vaccines to all eligible adults on a walk in basis.

It is understood that first and second doses of both Pfizer and Astra Zeneca will be available. At this stage it is being advised to wait eight weeks after receiving the first does for the second jab.

The clinic runs from 8.30am to 7.30pm and no booking is necessary although booking may speed up the time it takes to get your jab as will bringing your NHS number.

The leisure centre is open on other days for booked appointments only. You can check if you are eligible for a vaccine and make a booking by clicking here.

Although infection rates have increased sharply in the area recently Brentford does not have an unusually high case rate compared to the rest of London and Hounslow is well below the London average with a rate per 100,000 of 312.

Up to and including 20 July 5,519,949 people in London had received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 3,982,182 had received two doses.

The total number of Covid-19 cases identified in London is 851,466 as at 20 July , this compares to 4,851,264 cases for England as a whole

In the most recent week of complete data (10 July 2021 - 16 July 2021), 37,318 cases were identified in London, a rate of 416 cases per 100,000 population. This compares with 24,426 cases and a rate of 273 for the previous week.

In the same period 287,589 cases were identified in England as a whole, a rate of 511 cases per 100,000 population. This compares with 192,827 cases and a rate of 343 for the previous week.
