That's a Wrap is appealing for donations of new toys for 0 to 16 year olds in support of local children who would otherwise be excluded from festivities this winter. You can donate funds in a variety of ways or drop off actual gifts. See ThatsaWrap for details.

Did you know that over 8,000 children are living in poverty in our local area alone, according to Child Poverty Action Group statistics for the Brentford and Isleworth constituency (as of January 2018).

That's A Wrap is a newly constituted community group based in Hounslow, aiming to bring residents together in support of local causes through community collections, and hands-on wrapping and packing activities. The aim is to deliver a series of collection-based projects over the coming years, in support of a variety of local causes. This Winter 2018 project marks the beginning of the group's work.

Donations will be distributed to

- Shooting Star House Children’s Hospice (Hanworth)
- Home-Start (Richmond, Hounslow and Kingston)
- Youth Bonds at Hounslow Action for Youth (Feltham)
- Honeypot Children's Charity (Hammersmith)
- The Log Cabin (Ealing)
- Special Baby Unit - West Middlesex Hospital (Twickenham)
- Hounslow Community Food Box (Brentford)
- Feltham Food Bank (Feltham)
- Baby Basics (Surrey)

Wrappers are also needed to hit the target of 2,000 perfectly wrapped presents for local children. Please join in the Community Wrap Event at The Nishkam School, TW7 5PN on Saturday 15 December, 11am-2pm. Please register your attendance online.
