Unfortunately a large section of the hanger in Brentford basin on the Grand Union Canal has become unsafe so The Canal and River Trust have closed the towpath. CRT are working with the owners of the hanger to get everything back to normal asap. There is a diversion in place from the Holiday Inn via Brentford Train Station onto the A4.

Boats are asked not to moor on the towpath under the hanger. Please contact the Canal and River Trust for further updates on 030 30 40 40 40 or visit www.canalrivertrust.org.uk/notices
