Specialist Support for Businesses
Free Workshop and Individual Sessions for Local Businesses
Businesses in Brentford and Hounslow can get specialist support to help them grow thanks to a programme of free advice sessions.
A team of experienced business advisers from a wide variety of backgrounds has been put together to offer local firms advice in a range of areas from financial and organisational management to marketing and customer services.
The scheme is being run by Hounslow for Business, a not for profit organisation that supports the local business community, with funding from the Outer London Fund.
The business support programme includes workshops and individual sessions with professional business advisors to help identify any areas that need action and could benefit from the free specialist support.
Steve Matthews, from Hounslow for Business, said:
“This programme has brought together a range of experienced specialists to help businesses in these difficult times.
“The free workshops cover areas such as business resilience, boosting your retail sales, waste and energy cost reduction, how to raise finance, how food safety can increase business, and how customer care can grow profits.
“There are also free financial health checks to help businesses identify cash flow issues many months before they occur so they can take corrective action before it is too late.
“Business reviews are also available to help clarify key weaknesses that need action and obtain specialist support free of charge.
“As the programme only runs until March, businesses are encouraged to take advantage and benefit while they can.”
The business support programme has been organised by the London Borough of Hounslow as part of its successful bid for support from the Outer London Fund to strengthen the vibrancy and growth of Brentford and Hounslow high streets and their surrounding areas.
