Give Blood

The NHS Blood and Transplant website blood.co.uk, has gone self-service.

The site has had a revamp allowing people to make the right decisions about donation and to manage their appointments quickly and effectively.

Blood donors can now create their own personal account which links to their existing blood donation records. This meant they can book, amend or cancel their own appointments online.

You can help the boost stocks of blood by becoming a donor if you are generally in good health, aged between 17 and 65 and weight at least 7st 12lbs.

The next local sessions are at: Chiswick Town Hall on January 20th, Ealing Town Hall on 28th January of St John's Centre Isleowrth on 6th March.

If you would like to give blood, you can call the NHS Blood and Transplant Service on 0300 123 23 23 or visit the website.
